 Hint: Take the New Mexico Rail Runner from Albuquerque to the  Santa Fe Plaza and enjoy a day in Santa Fe shopping, sightseeing, dining and more!

**The Train runs from the Downtown Alvarodo Transportation Center Albuqueruqe, to the Santa Fe Rail Depot. There are several Santa Fe attractions such as museums, restaurants, galleries, shops, and the famous Santa Fe Plaza within easy walking distance of the Santa Fe Railyard Station.  There are also shuttles leaving from that station that will take you to area destinations. Those shuttles are free with a Rail Runner ticket.  Use the ABQ RIDE bus transportion system once you get to Santa Fe to access the Santa Fe Plaza, Canyon Road, Museums, Capital Buiding and other parts of Santa Fe. Vist the New Mexico Rail Runner Site for more information and to purchase tickets;

Taos Pueblo

 Taos Pueblo (or Pueblo de Taos) is an ancient pueblo belonging to a Taos (Northern Tiwa) speaking Native American tribe of Pueblo people. It is approximately 1000 years old and lies about 1-mile north of the modern city of Taos, New Mexico, USA. The Red Willow Creek, or Rio Pueblo de Taos (also called Rio Pueblo), is a small stream which flows through the middle of the pueblo from its source in the Sangre de Cristo Range. A reservation of 95,000 acres is attached to the pueblo, and about 1,900 people live in this area...
